Refund Policy

1. Overview

At OCD Leather Repair, we are committed to delivering high-quality mobile leather cleaning and repair services. Our Refund and Returns Policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with the Australian Consumer Law.​

2. Service Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days of the service date. We will assess the issue and, if appropriate, offer a re-service at no additional cost. This guarantee does not cover issues arising from misuse, neglect, or failure to follow post-service care instructions.​

3. Refunds for Services

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or compensation if our services:

  • Are not provided with due care and skill.

  • Are not fit for the specified purpose.

  • Do not achieve the agreed results.​

If a major problem occurs, you may choose to:

  • Cancel the service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion.

  • Keep the contract and negotiate a reduced price.

For minor problems, we will rectify the issue within a reasonable time. If we fail to do so, you may be entitled to a refund.​

4. Refunds for Products

If you purchase products from us (e.g., leather care kits), you may return them within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. A restocking fee of $9.95 may apply for change-of-mind returns. This fee does not apply if the product has a major problem. ​

If the product is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a full refund, replacement, or repair, as per the Australian Consumer Law. ​

5. How to Request a Refund or Return

To initiate a refund or return:

  1. Contact us at ocdleatherrepair@gmail.com within the specified timeframes.

  2. Provide details of the issue, including any relevant photos or documentation.

  3. For product returns, ensure the item is unused and in its original packaging.​

We will respond within 5 business days to address your concerns.​

6. Exceptions

Refunds and returns are not available for:

  • Services completed as agreed without any faults.

  • Products that have been used or are not in their original condition.

  • Change-of-mind requests beyond the 14-day return period.​
